Meeting

Hello everyone,

E ku dede iwoyi,

I want to thank you all for attending the first meeting of the year.

Thank you for your great contributions and the smoothness of the meeting. I will however appreciate if you could inform people you may know, who are not attending or still looking from outside that there has never been a better time to join us than now. Tell them we love them and we need them to come and be part of good things happening in the association. Please spread the news. To our regular members, like we mentioned in the meeting, let love for each other and the association be strong, then we can take the association to a great height together. Lastly as also mentioned in the meeting, let`s have "leave the campsite better than the way you found it" attitude which may be applied to every area of our lives. Use your gift to it`s fullest potential, contribute to the society and make the kind of imprint on the world, no matter how small it may be, like the good people who have gone before us.

Once again, thank you, and looking forward to seeing you in March.

Happy New Year to you everyone and the ones you love!!

This is the time of the year to reflect and plan ahead.

As you are planning,I want you to do yourself a favor by doing the following things;

2. Make your personal relationship with God a priority.

3.Make each day your masterpiece.

4.Help others

5.Drink deeply from good books.

6.Build shelter against raining day

7.Make good decisions

8.Use your time wisely

9.Be kind and encouraging to people.

10.Show honor and respect to those around you.

11.Be a faithful person people can rely on.

12.Fight against selfishness and stubbornness.

It does not matter the order you give them,but let`s try from here this year and let`s wait and see what happens when the year ends.

 We hope this year brings you great fortune and great success!!!

Giving and receiving love is the spirit of the season, it should not be just for one day but for the whole year! 
As we are counting down to the end of 2013,I want you to take a deep breath and ask yourself these questions;

2. What have I learned from the journey so far?
3.How have I grown?
4. What is next?
Then you will be ready for the coming year and years after.

Thanksgiving.

I want to thank you again for coming to the meeting and for your sincere contributions.
I pray that we will continue to have success in all our undertakings.At this special thanksgiving, what are you thankful for? or are you thankful at all? Do not only look at what you have not achieved this year but what you have achieved too.
Also, as we are counting down to the end of the year,I want you to learn how to ACT as John Maxwell puts it, A represents Apply ,C represents Change and T represents Teach. Apply what you have learned,change what you need to and Teach or share your knowledge and skills.
I believe the sky is the limit for us in the coming year and years to come if we ACT together.

Sunday school

Hello everyone,

This is not about religion,yet I want to share two lessons with you.

 1."Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth"

The meek does not mean the weak.The meek are those who are humble enough to know they need to reduce their arrogance and willing to learn anew.

2."My people perish from lack of knowledge".

Are you ready and willing to learn anew or continue doing the same thing or remain in the same place where you have been the last 5 or 10 years? Ask yourself.Are you an old dog, obsolete and out of touch with the world? Ready to throw away your unyielding pride?

This is the time you need to come and join hands with your association in any way you think possible and not destroying what people are trying to build while you are outside.

Bottom line, come and learn, share and better your life.Ao ni se ase ti o.

General meeting.

I want to express my appreciation to all of you present at our general meeting last Sunday October 27th 2013.The attendance was very encouraging.Thank you again for you suggestions for our short and long term projects.We will be working on them as soon as possible.Please continue to send more ideas because we want to take the association to the highest level possible God`s willing.Those who were absent we understand,we missed you,we need you and we love you.

*Please remember that the NUJ`s general election is on the 3rd of November at Ikebukuro. Please be there to support our candidate for the post of Secretary General and other candidates from other associations so as to have the best representatives. Oju o ni ti wa oo.

General meeting

Another big thank you to everyone present at our September`s meeting and for your contributions too.

I am very happy that the reviewed constitution is now available, and we were able to distribute it at the meeting for a final review, which, will be our main point of discussion in our October`s meeting. I am very delighted that we were able to have our first mini workshop too. Looking forward to more. I appreciate your audiences and those feed backs too. If you were absent, you can always have a summary through another channel for members only. It`s just to prove that we can share and benefit valuable things even more valuable than immediate material things when we come together. A a se ase yori oo.
